What are our class sizes?
We pride ourselves on small class sizes, which allow us to truly get to know each child and provide the tailored support they need to thrive. We believe every child is an individual, and our dedicated and experienced teachers and support staff work closely with pupils to create personalised learning programmes that support their academic progress, social development and physical wellbeing.
What curriculum do we follow?
We follow a broad and balanced curriculum, enriched with specialist teaching in subjects such as French, Music, Dance, Computing, Art and Physical Education. In Kindergarten and Reception, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Do we offer extracurricular activities?
Yes. Our extra-curricular programme includes sports, music, clubs and performing arts, giving every child the chance to explore their interests and develop new skills. What are the school hours?
Our school day runs from 8.30am to 3.30pm, with wraparound care available from 8.00am to 5.30pm. Sessions can be booked in advance or on an ad hoc basis using our easy-to-use app, offering flexibility to suit busy family life.
Do you have a school bus service?
We do not currently offer a school bus service.

Do you offer taster days for prospective children?
Yes. We’re happy to arrange taster days so that your child can experience life at St. Winefride’s firsthand and begin to feel part of our school community. We also run stay-and-play sessions for nursery-aged children.
Do children have to be Catholic to attend St. Winefride’s?
No. While we are proud of our Catholic foundation and values, we have a wonderfully diverse community. We support and celebrate the faiths and backgrounds of all our children.
Do you accept children with special educational needs and disabilities?
Yes. We are an inclusive school and always strive to support children with additional needs. Our experienced team works closely with families to ensure every child receives the care and provision they need to thrive.
