Bush day at Adcote School
Not exactly the Amazonian jungles or the Arctic tundra, but the grounds of Adcote School still challenged the survival skills of Year 6 this week at their annual Bushcraft Day. The children had a marvellous time camouflaging themselves, lighting fires and building dens and, just in case, learning first aid, returning to school happy, smelly and exhausted!
Many thanks to Adcote School for hosting a wonderful day that was both educational and great fun, and also to Mrs. Gray and Mrs. Wallace-Tarry for helping out with transport.
