Celebration of Mary
Today, we came together as a whole school
community to celebrate the Month of Mary
in a special assembly. It was a lovely and
reflective occasion, filled with prayer,
music, and moments of reverence. The
children preparing for their First Holy
Communion were invited to take part by
placing flowers around Mary, creating a
beautiful display of love and devotion. Miss
Neary had the honour of crowning Mary,
marking a particularly meaningful moment
in the celebration.
We also joined together in singing some
beautiful hymns, which added to the
peaceful and joyful atmosphere. A special
well done goes to our Year 6s
for their clear and thoughtful reading—they
did a wonderful job. It was a truly
memorable way to begin this special month.
